Jessica works in conjunction with the other therapists at Off-Nicol in providing specialised multi-disciplinary treatment of orthopaedic and biomechanical conditions. The Off-Nicol podiatry practice boasts the latest 1.5 metre pressure plate for gait analysis and biomechanical assessments.

Lower limb conditions treated at Off-Nicol:

• Biomechanical problems: flat feet, high arches and hyper-pronation conditions are common and are diagnosed by the assessment of biomechanics and the use of ‘gait plate’ technology. Treatment often involves the use of orthotics which has proved hugely successful.

• Common foot conditions: painful heels, plantar fasciitis, Morton’s Neuritis.

• Sports injuries: ‘shin splints,’ Illiotibial Band Friction Syndrome, tendonitis, Patella Femoral Syndrome or ‘runner’s knee,’ and other sprains and injuries are diagnosed and treated, often in conjunction with physiotherapy.

• Ingrown toenail surgery.

• Dermatological conditions: corns, callouses, plantar warts.
